What does DUTY FREE mean?
If your item is to be shipped to a country outside of the EU, then you are eligible for our DUTY FREE rate where the UK Sales Tax of 20% will be removed from the Total Price. Select your destination country upon checkout and the UK Sales Tax will be removed from the Total Price. Please however note that you may be subject to Import Duties and Taxes which will be levied by the courier company.
How do you ship your items? We ship our items internationally via FedEx or Royal Mail. FedEx or Royal Mail will calculate the necessary import duties and taxes for your purchase and invoice you for these Import Duties and Taxes, if applicable, either upon receipt of your watch or a few days later by post.
Can you tell me how much I will have to pay for import duties and taxes? No - The duty and tax rate varies significantly from country to country and even from state to state. These rates also vary depending on the final value of the item, the nature of the item and in the case of watches, is calculated by the nature of the watch mechanism, the type of watch movement, the metals used within the watch and the material of the strap.
What if I am in the EU? If you are in the EU you cannot remove the UK sales tax. When purchasing from another EU country, by law you have to pay the UK sales tax rate. However, as a tax has therefore been paid, you will not be liable for any further import duties or taxes. The price that you pay at checkout is the fixed price of importing the watch into your EU country.
